Kaitlyn DeMeyere, a poet and writer from the Pacific Northwest, centers her work around one mission:
To prove poetry is alive.
Currently working towards her Bachelor's in English, with sights set on a Master's of Fine Arts in the future, Kaitlyn envisions, dreams, writes, and shares her poetry throughout the Puget Sound area.
Her works explore themes of resilience, hope, and growth, but have recently expanded towards justice and poetry as a form of protest.
Kaitlyn believes that together, through the mastery of pen and paper, brilliant language, and the bravery and vulnerability to speak it out loud, we can make our voices heard. Kaitlyn's poetry may have began as a coping tool for her, but has since become a resource for those who need an anthem.
Speechless will we be no more.
